Thanksgiving, vegan-style.

Vegan Thanksgiving * 26 November, 2011 * Afternoon

Tickets & more info HERE! (Tickets are limited! If none are left, let me know and I will put you on a waiting list.)

Hello!

If you’ve enjoyed my dishes from the FGV vegan potlucks (chai truffles, “salami” seitan, cheezey stuffed shells, fakin’ bacon chocos, etc), then I hope you will join in me in a relaxing, fun-filled feast!

Thanksgiving is THE day of over indulgence in the US. There will be no separate courses; everything will be served “Family Style”. This is traditional, along with the vegan mid-western food hardiness!

With your donation, you can expect homemade favourites like: seitan drumsticks, domino potatoes, mushroom gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, cornbread, sweet potato bake, “wishbones”, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, pumpkin ice cream and maybe even a cheezeball! (Subject to ingredient availability)

It will be held in the afternoon, as it is a lunch-time affair. This also leaves your Saturday night free to either: enter a food coma or tell all your friends about your food conquest.

There will be:
*Nibbles and a mug of mulled wine or non-alcoholic spice berry drink
*Craft Corner
*The Feast
*Fun & Games
*The Desserts
*Various teas and fresh coffee
*Dance party (optional)
Feel free to BYOB for top ups.
